Paul Dakeyne is a legendary DJ/Producer and one of my favorite remixers

Although remixing around 250 records in his career, Paul landed one of dance music's seminal crossover moments with his 1994, Tinman, "18 Strings” global hit. Into the 00s, he also wrote and produced music for major BBC TV shows, worked in A&R for Mercury Records and created mash-up mixes for BBC Radio 1.

From the late 80s, I saw Paul as one of the first true breed DJ/Producer and studio mixing innovators.

Radio & Podcasts

Already an experienced public speaker, Paul added Radio Presenter and Podcast Creator to his creative activities as the 21st century dawned. He recorded sessions for ‘Ministry of Sound’ Radio, the BBC’s ‘96 NYE ‘Essential Mix’ and later, his own specialist ‘80s ElectroPop Radio Show’, hitting 3-Million global streams.

Many times I found myself enjoying his productions and remixes and, latterly, learning from his podcasts and livestreams
